Sodium Bicarbonate Applications:
1.Laboratory application
Sodium bicarbonate can be used as an analytical reagent and is also employed in inorganic synthesis. It can be used to prepare sodium carbonate-bicarbonate buffer solutions. When a small amount of acid or base is added, the hydrogen ion concentration will not change significantly, thus maintaining the relative stability of the pH value of the system.
