Lithopone
Lithopone is a remarkably adaptable white pigment celebrated for its outstanding opacity. Crafted from barium sulfate (BaSO4) and zinc sulfide (ZnS) in a precise 70:30 blend, this economically favorable pigment harmonizes moderate brightness with superior hiding power. It masterfully occupies the space between ordinary zinc oxide and premium titanium dioxide. Its distinct chemically co-precipitated structure guarantees uniform particle distribution, making it the perfect selection for uses where ultimate durability isn't the top priority.
