Product Description：
Isophorone, also known as '1,1, 3-trimethylcyclohexene-1-ketone' or 3,5, 5-trimethyl-2-cyclohexene-1-ketone, is a six-member ring of α, β-unsaturated ketone with the chemical formula C9H14O, which is a colorless to yellow volatile liquid with a characteristic odor (camphor/mint aroma). It occurs naturally in cranberries. Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, ether, acetone and other organic solvents. See light transition to dimer. It is oxidized in air to 4,4, 6-trimethyl-1, 2-cyclohexanedione.

Isophorone (CAS NO.78-59-1) is used as a solvent in some printing inks, paints, lacquers, adhesives, copolymers, coatings, finishings and pesticides.[2] It is also used as a chemical intermediate and as an ingredient in wood preservatives and floor sealants.
