Product Applications :
(1) Borax can be used as a jewelry adhesive, in printing and dyeing, washing (silk, wool, etc.), gold refining, cosmetics, pesticides, fertilizers, borax soap, antifreeze, and disinfectants.
(2) In the metallurgical industry, borax is used in calcination, welding, and metal testing. It is also a high-quality flux: during metal welding, borax is used to clean the metal surface.
(3) It is a raw material for ceramic glazes and glass. In glass, it can improve ultraviolet transmittance, transparency, and heat resistance. In enamel products, it makes the enamel less prone to peeling and gives it a bright surface; in addition, it is widely used in special optical glass and glass fiber.
(4) Borax is a basic raw material for the production of boron-containing compounds; almost all boron-containing compounds can be produced using borax.
